Sugar Hiccup

Finally we have Sugar Hiccup's 3rd album entitled of tongues and thoughts. The 2 previous albums that we have were in casette tape. Its kinda wonderful knowing sugar hiccup is making noise again in the music scene. They've been quiet for quite a while since Melody left the band. I thought that that was all over. I really love SH music. I love melody sing SH music. She gives a really really beautiful and unique distinction of their music.

Also we have a recorded casette tape of SH live performance during the launching of the alpha numeric sampler. The launching was aired over at NU 107. I think the venue was at Club Dredd. I noticed that SH even give better performance when they play live. What really hit me was when Melody sang 5 years. It was really breath-taking, I mean literally breath taking because there's a part in 5 years where she has to hit this really high note. But with her talent, she did it with all ease. That was amazing!

Now that the 3rd album was released with Bea as the new vocalist,people might attempt to compare the previous vox with the new one. In terms of style, both girls show a different sense of performance of their voice qualities. it must be difficult for Bea to sometimes be compared with Melody. I think we should give her credit for doing a good job for bringing SH a different twist and style. Although the styles of the 3 remained the same, the vox really gave a different sound in its entirety.

Admittedly i cant help comparing the 2 girls and I would have to favor melody because her distinction has already made a mark in my mind thats why I cant help myself from choosing Melody over Bea especially when I heard Bea's version of Barn and Trust. Ofcourse I prefer melody's version.

Second Time

This is my second personal blog for heeowa. I deleted the previous one which also carries the same name because I felt that that wasn't good enough.

I have another blog but I'd like to keep it confidential from the people I know. That is my confidential blog where I can write all the misery and suffering of heeowa's life. Meanwhile this one was created for Lazy Lorelei's purpose or for other relevant purposes as well.
